Step 1: Call your AEDARSA Area Manager
If you have a complaint, the first step is to call your Regional AEDARSA office and ask to speak with the Area Manager.
Step 2: Submit a written complaint
If you feel the issue has not been addressed, we encourage you to file a written complaint to AEDARSA. We promise to get back to you within 20 working days of receiving your grievance.
Please fill out the attached Complaint Form or submit a letter including all of the following information:
AEDARSA reserves the right to refuse to investigate complaints that are considered to be made in bad faith, or those received more than 3 months after an alleged incident occurs.The information you provide will be protected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Step 3: Contact Alberta Municipal Affairs
Should the issue remain unresolved at this point, you have the option of contacting Alberta Municipal Affairs.
Report a Safety Risk – confidential & anonymous reporting
To enhance public safety, create a level playing field for our clients within their industries and achieve higher compliance rates, AEDARSA has put into place a process for anyone to anonymously report their concerns about third party conduct that is detrimental to safety.
Our external “Report a Safety Risk” service is a confidential and secure system for you to report the following concerns involving Elevators, Amusement rides, or Passenger ropeways in Alberta:
• Unlicensed work
• Unpermitted work
• Unsafe conditions or hazards
• Improper or unsafe work practices
